Scrounging for FBS non-SEC love-fest articles during off season

This is a link to an article from January 2015. The site determined which football programs won their "state championship" regardless of classification. These guys say our Bulldogs were Louisiana state champions based good winning stretch, nearly knocking off Marshall, and beating P5 Illinois handily in the Hear of Dallas Bowl.

Doesn't mean a thing. Doesn't prove anything. It's just nice to see La Tech football being recognized for its accomplishments by media with no ties to Tech, C-USA, the states of Louisiana, the Ark-La-Tex, the Ark-La-Miss, etc.

Can't argue that. Last year's DBs were tied for first in the nation with 26 interceptions and many are back again this year. All those interceptions helped up lead the nation in turnovers gained. Dixon was ranked 27 in rushing yards and 6 in rushing TDs. Another state school did have an RB with better rushing average.

A very rare thing indeed...good/bad or pure nonsense and fantasy, if media is tied to Louisiana then always has LSPoo in it.

So true. The good thing is more and more media outside Louisiana are realizing LSPoo is NOT the only university in Louisiana and Tech athletics is a good product.
