This happens every year at lsu.
No surprise at all!!! Thugs keep marching on at LSU!!!
I think it was a minor offense. Most people would go get their property back from someone who took it.
Have you considered those Dogs?
<<No formal charges were filed against the three LSU players.>>
No, I'm not surprised a football coach allowed players who weren't charged with anything back on the team.
The cited article didn't disclose what actually happened.
Glass houses people
That is still illegal, its a form of vigilantism, which is illegal for a good reason. If they knew who took it, they should have told the police and let them handle it, hell they would probably have gotten expedited priority considering who they are. This all hinges on the "stolen property recovery" thing being the truth and not just a cover for what actually happened, which I wouldn't put past the organizations and people involved, in any case
Have you considered those Dogs?
Amos is this pit worthy?
Junkin' up the football thread with lsu crap! You should be ashamed!

I don't remember what he did to get kicked off the University of Miami football team, but we welcomed Eric Shaw to our football team. A recent video post on the BBB (I think when we played Auburn) showed a highlight of his defensive skills and he was impressive. Any chance we allowed "such a player" on our team because he was a stud 4 or 5 star athlete or would we have made such an exception for a non-ranked player. Let's talk about what great about Louisiana Tech and all the positive things happening with us... when pointing out the flaws of others we look JV. Our mindset should be what are we doing to win a national championship... (before you think it's crazy... talk to Boise State... who would have ever thought a team from our former WAC conference would have been in such high level bowl games?) If a national championship is not a sought after goal of ours it will never happen. I hope the administration and the alumni will publicly state our goal to win national championships in every sport we're in. A couple years ago I asked someone very close to me why he never went to any Tech football games (this guy was very involved when at Tech) and his response was, "If Tech (Dr. Reneau at the time) does not care to invest in the football program why should I"... I said, "Good point", then shared with him that Reneau eventually saw the errors of his way and Tech and the alumni have been making significant invests in the program and things are improving. Just two days ago he asked me about season ticket information (which was not even on his radar screen a few years ago)... When everyone has the same focus and leadership consistently leads with the ultimate goal in mind... Things will continue change. Go Dawgs
