Looks like a solid get and it is past time to have a basketball specific coach.
Great move Konk!

Once again, THE BBB is the North Louisiana Leader in LaTech sports information.
He has his his work cut out for him trying to bulk up our string bean mens team white left us with.
Oh yeah forgot to add there aren't many 6'8 250# dudes out there anymore. Everyone grows up wanting to play guard and handle the ball. Thanks Kobe!
If you are talking about White, it's not that simple at all. No amount of money would have kept him here. Paying him a dime more than he was making would not have been a good business decision for us. He has yet to prove himself as a big time coach. He is proven all other areas, but not clutch coaching.
I think yall are missing my point. White is gone; i could Not care less.
He left us with a bunch of skinny players. Our new strength coach might be able to bulk up a few of them but when you start off so light in the britches you cant much.
How many basketball games have you seen lately (last 2 years) at any level? One of our "skinnies" is the only one of the big 3 from last year to sign with an NBA team. One of the "skinnies" in the NBA was MVP 2 seasons ago. One of our "skinnies" from the late 80s had a long productive career and was signed by the Celtics when they last won the championship to specifically help win that championship and is credited by some with performing how he was expected to do and integral in their winning. While nobody will disagree that it is great to have the bulk down low that can move mountains success as a "big man" isn't reserved only for those with the weight.
Years ago, Julius randle would have been taken over a guy like nerlens Noel.
