THIS! I, personally, don't know how good he will be yet, but I am going to give him a chance. If we get there this year, that would be awesome, but year 2 and 3 will be the true test. I loved MW. He brought our program back and, if he would have stayed, I think we would be dancing this year. He didn't and that story is over. Time for a new chapter and I am ready to see what he can do. I wish we could keep great coaches, but we are not at that point yet - obviously. MW did us no favors as he walked out the door, no matter how much he did while he was here.

Two choices now - spend time in the past or move forward. I choose the latter!

I like them better than jucos if they take up an otherwise unused scholarship. Basically another player you wouldn't have on the roster. They literally use an unused scholarship that is still free next season. No brainer.

I can't figure out whether you are serious. Mike White was not successful bc he recruited lefties and Florida. He was successful bc he could id talent that was not getting a lot of attention, convince them to come and he coached them up when they arrived.

I haven't seen anything from Konkol that suggests he cannot be successful. Keeping jean is a great sign. Jury is certainly still out and will be for at least three years. But the early returns are good IMO.
