I think booty is on there for what he could have been. A kid from Evangel, going to save LSU from their desparity. He did beat Alabama at tiger stadium for the first time in 31 years.. Since 98% of the state are LSU fans, that probably landed him on the list. Then to top it off the SHREVEPORT newspaper did this list and this was a Shreveport kid that played both Major League Baseball and NFL. He may have "sucked" but to get a shot at both is incredible, whether he succeeded or not. He is also fresh on the memory compared to others. Just my 2 cents.

So, you're saying they wanted to reward mediocrity simply because he went to LSU. There's been several QBs at Tech that were better than Booty.
