I didn't realize Sokol's 1 year in Ruston was better than Driskel's whole career, statistically.
I was channel surfing about a month ago, and I came across an ESPN replay of the Univ of Florida 2015 Spring game. So I watched it for about 15 min, because I wanted to see how the Gators looked without Driskel at QB. I was literally bored to tears. The Gators had ZERO offense. I mean, NOTHING. I honestly don't see how the 2015 version of the Florida Gators can compete in the SEC. They were THAT bad.
I hope I'm not expecting too much of the team this year, but gosh we should be a scoring machine. If Driskle can do what Sokol did? My hope is that he will do even better. The challenge for the D is to match 2014. I'm pumped.
Sokol and company were ok, but our offensive was only fueled by big plays and opponents major mistakes. What was so frustrating last year was that we had very little ability to drive the field and gain multiple 1st downs per drive. In the second half of NWST, ODU, and Marshall, this flaw was our downfall. Hopefull we can fix this problem with a stronger OL.
Heh I went to the whatifsports one and simulated a game between last years Tech team and last years LSU team, and it had us winning 32-29 at Tigger stadium...... I like this site already
