Germdawg gets the credit here. He just posted this over on the CUSA board, but I thought it should go here too.

The link doesn't work for me.
This one does:

Well, after a promising picture on the front and a mention as a strong team, the article basically downs CUSA and just mentions Marshall and WKU toward the end. Pretty much a downer article for me.

I had posted it under the old countdown thread.
Another big reason we could win it all, out of last years Bowl Teams we return the most Offensive starters, and 2nd most Defensive starters (I don't count WKU's Defensive starters cause they're all offense )
Thanks for the good link. And yeah, I'm pretty much the same way about the article. I don't get the love for WKU. Yeah, Case Keenum Jr will put up video game numbers, but has anyone remembered that they return 9 starts off the same defense that played last year that allowed 40 PPG? They'll be like our 2012, just with a worse defense (if you can imagine). I see no reason we shouldn't handle them again. I'm not expecting 59-10 again, but I am expecting a W.
Myerberg also posted the 1-128 pre-ranking,
LaTech is at 51, as already known,
but interestingly Kansas State is at 57,
Mississippi State is at 45,
and obviously ULL is below us at 61
Looks like Myerberg may not be all that surprised if we sweep our non-conference schedule... For all his doom and gloom on our chances in the Conference preview that is, but of course Myerberg may just be looking at his predicted W-L results at the end of the year
I thought it was a fair right up...
If one thing last year showed us, no predictions can be made on the past year's performance
So, that also holds true for this year - WKU and Rice both will be out to avenge the embarrassing beat downs we handed them
