Couldn't really tell. Then again, there were a few hundred fans at the scrimmage as opposed to 20,000+ for an actual game. I expect the sound levels to be different when we play Southern in two weeks. The DAC and the new turf both look great.
I did get some interesting tidbits about the next proposed project at the Joe. The expanded press box would extend almost from goal line to goal line and would look similar to the one Western Kentucky has at their stadium. My source also said about 1,000 new box seats would be added with the project.

Could be one of the biggest recruits on paper ever for Tech.

Would make a great thread. Rule out transfers and players before Rivals ( on paper part). Off top of my head he is Dixon. He came out as #7 ranked overall player in Arkansas. Set all the Arkansas rushing records. Obviously he comes to mind because of his success at Tech but highly ranked and recruited
Adrain's Barnes came out as # 20 from Mississipi. ( official president of Adarius Barnes fan club for 3 years)
Boston Scott is listed as 5' 6" and 195 #s. The kid is a bowling ball. He will be a crowd favorite.
Yes, I meant coming out of high school, not transfers or jucos. I don't remember a bigger name in recent years as far the amount of offers and whom offers are from, its quite impressive. His commitment could help anchor the class and get 2-3 more like him, that would be huge.

He committed to Tech very early-- he loved Dykes and staff. Many of us die hards were holding our breath as word of Nebraska - Arkansas were sending coaches after him. I was telling Russdawg and Sportsdawg about my concern back then. He was telling every program he loved everything about Tech-- don't confuse not being recruited with giving up on changing his mind
The state T haircut he was sporting might've been interpreted as a sign he was firm in his commitment to the other recruiters.
Have you considered those Dogs?
Has anyone watched his highlight video? Good god. A violent football player.
Also watched a couple interviews. He is very interested in the SEC. Don't get too excited until visits are completed. He says he just started playing football "a couple years ago".. So he's new to all that is involved in being a beast that can play DE or OLB at a high level.
