Target in Shreveport also has a couple of good Tech shirts.
Just got back from Academy - they had some stuff on clearance - not a lot of stuff if you're looking to buy for wife or kids. Polos marked down $20.

They have really stepped up their game at Academy in Shreveport. I have bought some unique Tech items for the deer hunting side of my family. Wife found some ladies stuff, I got one of the Adidas polos that was on sale. They have a great range of brands including Columbia and good sale prices. If you are looking for some additional gear for the Bowl game or Christmas, you should be able to find it there. Was in there yesterday and Tech folks were in there buying it!
There are some Tech caps on clearance at Academy Sports in West Monroe and Bossier. Picked up a good looking patriotic state T cap for $4.99 that was originally over $20. They aren't marked very well so scan the barcode to make sure. Also had some shirts and a flag marked down.
I'm curious . . . does Sam's carry any Tech apparel? The Monroe store had elessewe and a couple of nlulm items. No Tech.

I almost posted this last week, but I loaded up with several Tech items on clearance with an additional 25% off. Basically most stuff is 50% off the original price. There's some good stuff. Get it before it's gone.

No. They carry LSU and ULL. I let Sam's and LG know about it, too.
Target carries Tech shirts now, though.
I bet they don't in Monroe. Walmarts in WM carries a few nlulm shirts, but no Tech stuff.
I'll need to exchange a present at Academy in WM today. I'll take a pic and post the Tech and nlulm sections.

Stores in Monroe-WM, and in S'port-Bossier should have Tech stuff. The Monroe stores can be forgiven for also having JUCO stuff, just as the Walmart in Natch has a selection of NSU stuff (and local high schools). Makes business sense to do so.
But no store is gonna stock merchandise that doesn't sell (not for long). So, if Ruston stores have lspoo crapola it's because they are selling it. And, no store can know what might sell if they don't have it and customers don't say anything. Ask for Tech stuff, if a store doesn't have it. Let 'em know there is a market for it.
Reminds me of a funny episode. Many years ago I was in Mobile for a business meeting, back in the days of the orange Tampa Bay Bucs. There was a mall adjacent to the hotel and it had a big sporting goods' store. I was killing some time, browsing, when some woman walks up to the counter and asks about Buccaneer jerseys and caps. They had a HUGE selection of, I think all the NFL teams and many college teams. It went like this:
Woman: "Do you have a Tampa Bay Buc cap?"
The clerk turns around and looks at the wall of NFL caps behind him and searches for it. I did too.
Woman: "Do you have anything with the Buccaneers on it?"
Clerk: "I don't know. No one has ever asked for any before."
I thought it was funny.
Academy WM has always insisted on stocking equal amounts of Tech and nlulm stuff even though the nlulm stuff rarely sells. Walmarts in WM never stocks Tech stuff and not much nlulm stuff. The over achiever managers at WM Academy have been told repeatedly that they need more Tech stuff. They ordered Nike Tech stuff this year instead of Adidas.
