Rivalry in college football survey (help with academic research)

"What does rivalry mean to you?
I'm a college student working with my professors to answer that question and others related to understanding fans' perspective of college football rivalries. Please take our survey (5-10 minutes) to tell us what rivalry means to Louisiana Tech fans, and we'll come back to share the results once compiled.

A rivalry is a game (opponent) where you show hate toward the opposing team, player, and fans, even though, afterwards, off the field you hold them in high regard and consider them your friend (or close associate for D-80).

A rivalry is a game (opponent) where you show hate toward the opposing team, player, and fans, even though, afterwards, off the field you hold them in high regard and consider them your friend (or close associate for D-80).

Its high school, but a great example, at least until more recent times, would be the Haynesville-Homer rivalry, 100+years of bitter hatred on the grid iron and still going. (They are even in the same district again, after Homer got moved from 2-A to 1-A. Its also the last game of the season for both teams. )

Also the number 6 appears twice on the "Rivalry Intensity" meter in the survey.
