Yes many of the TECH faithful were down on our bowl selection that year, but I dare say that none of them said that we were too arrogant. The only thing that gives me pause is her preconceived notions of TECH. With that, she has a steep hill to climb. If she makes that climb, she will grow mightily and hopefully prove to be a great marketing person. Are you up for that challenge Aimee? If so, you should begin right now with a statement that says so and put to rest your statements of the past. If not, then you need to move on.

Yeah, and that wasn't Vandy's only recent social media marketing blunder.
A few weeks ago Vandy marketing revealed their new uniforms with a football player posing in a silly position. It turned into a viral meme sensation with people editing their graphics to mock Vandy.

Vandy may be in the SEC, but their social media marketing belongs in the Sun Belt.
Several weeks ago Vandy announced they were undergoing an "intense internal review of their social media practices." I wonder how that turned out. Maybe that's why Aimee went looking for a new job to work for the snobs in Arkansas South. Maybe not, but we will probably never know her association with the "no permission" and "deep water" marketing campaigns.

Time to move on, her Twitter account has been deleted and rumor is she removed herself from consideration...(probably to relief of the admin).
That's just a typical SunBelch line from NLULM, USL-LaLa at the time. That ignorant lie was spread on social media: even my NLULM grad sister believed it and had no idea that we really wanted to weigh other offers and wanted more time, like was given to teams the following year. Aimee was probably just repeating what she'd heard. If she's of the right character and ability she'll work diligently for Louisiana Tech. If not, we'll know fairly soon.
Personally, I will forgive her prior usage of the illegal/unethical/improper UL and/or Louisiana. From this point forward, she should never refer to the Cajuns other than with the @ Lafayette. The proof will be how the @ Lafayette game is marketed. She's in a tough spot there as if the correct name is used, as it most definitely should be, she will be blasted by her fellow @ Lafayette alums. I read that there were threats made to Tabby Sognier regarding an article she wrote which included @ Lafayette's name game.
She has removed her name from the running...
