Louisiana Tech hosts Southern on Saturday, Sept. 5 to open the 2015 season. With it being the first of six home games this season at the newly-expanded Joe Aillet Stadium, fans are reminded of policies for the stadium to help made the gameday experience a positive one for all visitors.

You can't go to the car anymore at halftime??!!
Pitty the poor handicapped! If they are on the East side, they have to go all the way over to the West, and vice-versa.
- Tobacco Free Campus/Stadium: Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on the Louisiana Tech campus and in Joe Aillet Stadium are prohibited. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes and chewing tobacco are not permitted. But I guess pot & meth are OK. They are not in the list of banned items. Smart!
- Re-Entry to Stadium Not Allowed: Anyone leaving Joe Aillet Stadium must have an un-scanned, new ticket to return to the stadium. Once a ticket has been scanned or the stub removed, it may not be used again for re-entry, unless otherwise directed by Louisiana Tech officials in emergency situations. Sneak lots of extra "adult beverages" into the game. You cannot go get a beer at halftime anymore. Smart!

Anyone who has ever been to a game with small children (and some wives), knows going to get something from the car at halftime is damn near unavoidable. Trapping people to buy product is the only logical reason they would require this and chicken s##t best left to the movie theaters. If I go get an extra blanket for the kids this winter at halftime and some jackass won't let me back in WITH A TICKET STUB I'll be livid.

If jeans/khakis are a must, as I mentioned in another thread, thin-profile flasks are a thing and a good investment for football season. Throw it in your back pocket and enjoy the game.
Nothing like a press release with a WARNING to the fans.
Why don't they alert these guys and bring them in to help?

FWIW, these rules have always been in place. Not sure why they feel the need to do a press release.
Maybe they plan to enforce them this year.In the past, I may or may not have had a Coke product that walked in with me- in plain sight.
It's probably for the 35k SU fans that will be at the game Saturday
