At least the Purdue QB actually moved and tried doing something this time. So I guess that's a plus for Purdue.
If the Marshall score holds up, this will be the second time a C-USA team has beaten a P5 school in the opening week of this season. Last year, Tech was the only C-USA team to beat a P5 school (Illinois in the HOD Bowl).

Yes, FCS for now, but the next step they are discussing is no G5s. The SEC and Big12 have also mentioned it. We've discussed in other threads that it is not likely for multiple P5s to do that because the math won't work if 3 or more of them try the experiment. The 6 game win total would be waived in one scenario, but the chance of 4 or 5 loss seasons for some of the "elite" is not likely to fly. Another scenario has them playing other conference members in non-conference games.
ESPN keeps most of this crap stirred up for obvious reasons.
I saw the last quarter of the game this morning on ESPNU. Marshall covered, which seldom happens in the fashion that it did when you want it to.
