If you get there to tailgate for 3 hours or more, parking is rarely a problem. It wasn't last Saturday. Wide open at 3:00.

When I go I get there about two hours early so parking is seldom a problem. Many times I get to park on the sidewalk along either side of Alabama as long as I see others doing it. When I pay it's usually in the Softball lot.
I get to Ruston at 10:00AM for a 6:00PM game, so no difficulties parking. As for shade...I go into the TAC to cool off or warm up, depending on the weather.

Or Natchez Crepe Myrtle (cheap and grow faster).
I went to an Oregon tailgate party a couple of years ago and the host had a port-a-potty for his guests. Pretty cool.
