we may very well win; we are preety good. but year to year score comparisons are dangerous. rice beat us by 40+ two years ago and we beat them 40+ last year

Most people that will be betting don't know near as much about Tech as people on this site. Squares tend to bet on favorites most of the time.
The 2s came in after Driskel's last TD in the 2nd quarter. From the third quarter on, it was 2s and 3s. By the end of the game, our #3 QB was handing the ball off to our #4 RB.
Also, the one TD Southern scored in the second half was with their starters going against our 2s and 3s on defense.
The line has already moved to even. FWIW, Massey Ratings has Tech as a 3-point favorite over Western Kentucky.

Yes, me too. What I saw on Vegas Insider, but only one house had it so far.
