I'm interested. Haven't heard of a gathering place, though.
The owner of the Rotolo's on 121 at Josey Lane reached out to the LA Tech DFW Alumni FB page about being a watch party location. Don't know if anything was ever worked out.
I'll be a party of one at the Ram Brew Pub where they never run out of beer. Wish I could locate some Tech grads in Oregon.

There is Buffalo Wild Wings, Twin Peaks, Hooters, Tailgaters all in Frisco. Once we went to II Brothers in Plano SW Corner of 121/Preston
Sounds like we may have waited too late to get something put together.
About 45 miles. I live just outside of Salem.
I used to organize DFW parties all the time. Finding places willing to show our game on busy football weekends became a problem. The university is pretty good about sending a little swag and helping to promote them though. We had parties from Plano to downtown. Even had a few of the different coaches come talk at the parties from time to time.
Is it too late to set something up for Saturday?
to get anything from the school yeah, it probably is. I don't know if you could get a pub to reserve any space or not. II Brothers in plano/frisco might. 1 day would be tough. I usually picked 2 or so games from the schedule and planned a few weeks ahead.
