Thusfar we have a Top 10 offense nationally. Conversely, thusfar we have a Bottom 10 defense and special teams. That is where we need some people to come to life to give us any chance of a victory.

Defence and special teams really need to step it up today!
Last weekend against UTSA, KS was slow in getting thinbgs going... If we should get points on the board early it will take the Wildcats out of their game plan and put the Bulldogs in control early anyway!
It might take a HOPE and a Prayer, but thinking the DAWGS are going to get the up-set!

Rankings are difficult, though. A lot depends on who you have played. WKU will bring down any defensive stats. I do agree that we need a HUGE defensive step up, though.

Amen, brother! That stat line sounds like 2012 all over again. But we all know this defense is much better than that one was. They just had one bad game (last week).

You are correct. The sample size is too small (Que Champ967, TWSS ) to put much stock into any season stats so far.

If we have to make adjustments to get moving, we will get it handed to us - our hat, or only by their totally falling apart, a win. If we make one mistake, and they play their game, it is theirs. If we make 2 turnovers, it is their game.
