The new president at NSU, Dr. Jim Henderson, said he looks forward to the day when all he sees is NSU garb on campus, and not one single LSU shirt! He gets it.

Of course, he might occasionally see some Tech garb .

One thing we can all do is step it up out in our daily life. There is a Tech alum who works for Caddo Parish who is interviewed on TV from time to time regarding public works and he is always wearing a Tech shirt. I was told he keeps a Tech shirt in his office at all times to ensure he's ready when the occasion arises.

There is absolutely NO DOUBT he is a LA TECH fan!!

I had an individual tell me I shouldn't have so much Tech stuff in my office, I might offend fans of other schools, I said I might offend fans of other schools but I won't offend alumni of other schools because they GET IT...

I can testify! I overtly rep LaTech in a context where many alumni from a variety of institutions are employees. NEVER have I had an alumni of any school bemoan my identification with Tech. Only those who didn't attend whatever team they cheer for have been offended....
