I had hoped he would be able to quietly wrap up his career as a backup. He deserves better than what's about to happen to him. Hope I'm wrong and he ends up being the toast of the town.
Saints are not old. Slow, maybe, but not old. They are the 3rd youngest team in the league. Get rid of Drew Greed, Colston, and few other older guys, and we'd be the youngest team.
But, yeah, 4-12 or 5-11 looms.....
And the Saints have 28 new players this year on their 53 man roster.

Maybe not. Just heard on XM that Dr. James Andrews confirmed Brees' rotator cuff was bruised not torn. Report said Brees might be cleared to play Sunday.
I want LUKE!! Save Brees for the cowgirls.
I heard one analyst, before the season of course, rate the Saints with the 6th best OL in the league. Strief gave up 3 sacks on Sunday, too bad Peate is a bust.
