16/17 125 yds. Go Luke
Luke just made an SEC caliber throw.
Luke played great!! SP called a poor conservative game for the most part. And SP should have never called the deep corner route on that last play. Keep moving the ball like you were!!!. Even if you scored on that play you give the panthers way too much time on the clock.
Luke played AWESOME!!
I just thought the guy made a remarkable int...

Yay
Just won my Super Bowl this year.
Our eventual 4-12 Saints got a big one tonite.
Whew!
Tried to give it to them but they wouldn't take it...

Yes we have owned them for almost 2 decades now.
It's always nice to beat Dallas, but let's not forget that we beat them without Romo, Lee, and McClain...and we needed overtime to do it.
We're not good. I still think it may be time to start over from the top down.
Granted.
Saints went from being the oldest team in the league, a couple of years ago, to the 3rd youngest now. The team is rebuilding and there is always growing pains associated with that.
But, I would be remiss, if I didn't point out our own injury woes. Byrd played a few downs last night. Lewis also saw action, then was later on the trainer's table being worked on. The Saints are missing, I think it is, 6 players from the starting line-up that Payton was counting on back in the spring. Even with those 6 guys 100% healthy the Saints were destined to be no better than about an 8-8 team this year. As it is, 4-12, maybe 5-11, is more like it.
I am thrilled with the play of several rookies on defense. And, C.J. Spiller will help this team a lot on O.
As for Brees...well, I suppose he is one of the best QBs of all time. One can say he "willed" the Saints to a win last night. Clearly, we had that advantage over the Dallas QB last night.
