[?QUOTE=dawg1984;1539598]JWhy would they think otherwise? Their parents that went to LSU-A have likely been pretending they went to LSU-BR all the kids' lives. This just looks more like it's all one big happy family. I see LSU-S is on-board, too.

Are the Pilots changing their colors?
These changes were all made last year. Neither school had a choice. These changes were mandated by the Baton Rouge school along with a lot of restructuring. Baton Rouge's "One LSU" agenda is trying to kill the System concept so that Baton Rouge can claim and control the assets of the other System institutions, most importantly the HSCs, Pennington, Ag Center, and the law center. LSUS and LSUA are pawns that have very little to no value for LSU.

One anti-Tech corrupt politician our people kept voting in office has finally served his last day in the state senate thanks to him being term-limited. This Tech alumnus says "he will now be able to spend more time rooting for his favorite home team, the LSU Tigers." Good riddance, Adley. His brick ought to be cut out of our alumni walkway.

And be involved with LSU even further, because Governor Jindal appointed Adley's wife to the LSU System Board of Supervisors earlier this year.

Didn't he just get an associate certificate (I won't deign to call it a diploma). If so would he get a brick?
According to its fall 2015 headcount announced Wednesday, Louisiana Tech has enrolled 12,414 students for the fall quarter – an increase of 1,143 or 10.1 percent over last year and eclipsing the previous record enrollment of 11,975 students set back in fall of 2003.

Some think we don't need more parking.
I do know we are very short on housing.
Currently we don't need parking, need student's that don't expect to park outside their classroom or realize they have to walk from their dorm... When we build the new dorms in the Master Plan that will eliminate a lot of spots and increase density so the new parking garages will be needed.
A parking garage would be the answer to this. Yes, students will have to walk from the garage, but that is not a huge deal. When I drive through the University of Texas, I realize that our students are pretty spoiled. I used to walk from Caruthers to the other side of the campus and to the TAC with no problem (through the snow in negative degree weather pulling a pile of books with me )
