Why was he out today?
MD said he pulled a hamstring against WKU. He was missed. There was a lot of miscommunication with some of our younger WRs. It would've been nice to have Paul in some of those clutch situations.

This really hurts.
Looks like it will be a repeat of last year with Turner. We'll never know if he's gonna play, and when he does try to play through the injury, it will be painful, and he'll never be back at 100%.
Another player lost to injury I haven't seen much talk about is Conner Smith. I don't know what his issue is, but his backup dropped what could've been a game winning TD against WKU.
Why do some guys have so many injuries? I remember our coach telling us we had to play through the injuries. The only time you sat out was when you had a broken arm or leg. You could play with a broken nose or broken fingers. Sprained ankles were taped and you played. We had one guy that missed every game with a broken leg. Nobody else missed a game. Nobody ever laid out on the field and waited for somebody to come help him up. Nobody ever got a concussion, they just got knocked "crazy". We did wear helmets, but, they only had straps in them, no padding.
Yes, hamstrings will heal... with rest. Trying to play on it before it heals will only prolong recovery time. I don't know how badly he pulled his hami, but knowing he tried to go but couldn't suggests the worst to me, that it's a bad pull that may take 3 months to heal so he's gonna try to play through it if he can since it's his last year. If it was a mild strain that would've healed quickly, he would've waited another week and wouldn't have tried to play until it was back to 100%. Hope I'm wrong.
Up to yesterday's game, he's been our biggest playmaker at WR. Good to see Carlos coming on, but we would be better with Paul also in the line-up. I wonder if Seay will ever get on the field?
Have you considered those Dogs?
Watts and Driskel appear to have a communication problem or maybe problems drawing the same conclusions when reading a defense.
