Haven't been to back to back bowls since 1978-1979...

Even though we SHOULD of been bowling 3 of our last 4 years -

Our potential fan base never connected with the WAC foes, even though it was a superior football and basketball conference - mainly due to out od sight out of mind late kick-offs on the west coast

Look what we have done in basketball the last two years - folks continue to say you can draw flies in basketball in a town that has 24k and a parish that has 42k and a realistic demographic of less than 250k within an hour (70 miles) of campus - yet we have grown that base consistently due to WINNING and post season play the last three consecutive years

If this football program can put back to back to back bowl runs, you will see the exact same thing

We don't have an attendance problem, we have a LACK of population problem - we are growing and achieving that true separation we desired when we made the move in 1988

I don't get to north louisiana that much anymore. Last weekend I was in Monroe for most of that Saturday and was really surprised at the number of people I saw wearing Tech stuff. Definitely never saw that when I was in school. We are making progress.
