Louisiana Tech hosts FIU on Saturday, Sept. 26 in a Conference USA game. With it being the first home game in two weeks at Joe Aillet Stadium, fans are reminded of policies for the stadium to help made the gameday experience a positive one for all visitors.

At the Southern game as I was going through the south gate a guy who had just made it through turned around and told the attendant he'd forgotten his seat back cushion and was going to go get it. He was told, politely, that if he went out he wouldn't be able to come back in on his ticket. He didn't get mad but did say, 'You're kidding me'. Attendant said 'No, it wasn't allowed'. I've gone back to my car to get water during the half and there were just a few that I saw in the parking lot. It didn't seem to be a problem. I figured that was just a privilege of being an LTAC member and parking close to the stadium. You obviously wouldn't want to go to your car if you were parked a half mile or more away.
First, let me say, I know this doesn't go in this thread, but I don't think it's worth starting one just for this question. I asked before the last home game and got no answer; so, again, why does the Countdown on the home page still have the Southern game on it?
If there are attendants at the gate at half time, then they can secure who returns. I could understand making this a policy for security reasons, but if the numbers are few, does this make any sense? There are many more reasons one may need to leave and come back. What are the reasons to not allow it, so long as there are attendants on post?????

...the person who is submitting this crap is on a power trip. No need for this pissant press release. We hire folks with no people skills and very few skills in external operations.
So, I can't walk my wife and 2 small kids out to the car if they need to leave a game that is running a little late? If the attendants would like to escort them to the car to ensure their safety, I am okay with that. However, when the attendant leaves their post, maddawg will sneak out and back in without being caught.
Wait when did the no re-entry become a policy?!? What about my half time beer run?!?!?

Agree. It's laughable really. The last thing a school with LA Tech's poor attendance history should be doing is looking for a reason to kick people out. Are they kidding me? Again, THIS is what you get when you hire a 32-year old Athletic Director (at the time of his hire). He doesn't know what he doesn't know.
The first thought I had was, "what are they afraid of?" Are they afraid there will be thousands of people getting into the stadium free by using another person's ticket? That's dumb as heck...you might have a few, but 99.999% of people wouldn't do that.
Like it was said earlier, it sounds like someone slinging their *ick around.
Likely trying to force people to purchase more concessions, versus walking back out to tailgate.
Never understood it either, but it's common practice. Lost my season ticket for a game once between the softball parking lot and stadium. Instead of going all the way back to look for it the guy in the ticket simply printed me a new one for that game.
