We're still too busy talking about a third down we can't change. Their defense keeps them in the game for a half, and there are multiple "we suck" comments in the game thread. Tech pulls away in the second half though.Originally Posted by champion110

Just from a player to player standpoint, based on what they've done and what we've done, I will go with 27-17, Tech.
The turnovers, special teams, and critical calls are too hard to predict. We will need them to go more in our favor this week than last week though.

Hard to gauge what FIU is made of so far. They took a lead into the 4th on Indiana, who just beat WKU. If we show up pissed off and hungry from last week's loss, we'll be able to put our foot on their throat to the tune of 55-17. If we stumble out of the gate like we did against WKU, I think this could be a ballgame into the 4th, but we'll still win it by 2 TDs, 35-21.
FWIW- Opening line was Tech as a 14 pt favorite, O/U of 62. We're still 14 pt favorites according to most books, but the O/U has dropped to around 53-54.
If our OL was healthy, this would be a cake walk. With our OL not healthy it will be a hard fought game that Tech wins late. I hope to god, that DC Baker never runs that crappy 2 deep zone again or at least tells the middle linebacker you cant let anyone behind you if he does. The zone D with little pressure is killing us more than anything (even special teams). I expect a better showing from our D this week and the O will sputter but a couple of big plays win it.
I cant make it to the game which sucks so I will be cheering from Dallas! Go Dogs!
That's really strange. I thought last week was strange too at 50, but w/out the OTs it was a little high.
I figure we should win this one by 40, but Vegas doesn't agree, so maybe 35-21 with our special teams giving up another TD?
