Their offense is inconsistent at best, and that's being nice. It's a one trick pony. They will likely play 2 QB's but neither seem to be that consistent.
Their defense isn't great either. We should be able to throw at will which will open up the run. Their DB's aren't very good in coverage.
One of the first offensive plays for Akron, the receiver on the left side of the field was WIDE OPEN on a go route. QB missed him by 5 yards. It was like they forgot he was there.
Cannot take anything for granted.
We were by far the better team when we played an 0-7 USL in 1991, but only managed a 14-14 tie.

The way to score our first TD would be for someone on the West side of the field to hold up a LARGE picture of U LaLa's new facility. That will distract the Cajun football team. I take no game for granted. We should beat them by 30 points and that is not an exaggeration. HOWEVER, our guys can't think of last year. They need to go into this hungry to embarrass them! If they don't, we could see another WKU moment.

Who did they beat? They suck.
They REALLY do! We should wipe the field with them. Just have to play our game. They will be hyped up as usual. I expect them to have a lot of penalties, as well. Hud will have them so hpyed, they will just destroy themselves, if we play our game.
More like an NSU moment
The secret to these type of games, is not letting them keep hanging around. A couple of quick scores and keep pounding them. Just like with NSU last year, then the game becomes a "jump ball" and they could possibly pull out a win. Keep punching them in the face. Keep KD and other key players healthy for the CUSA West run.
