Expectations for this game?

They seem to play well against us. It's tough to get much from their performances because they played such a tough schedule. They did beat a BAD UTEP team this weekend. And our common opponent KSt they had at home and were in the game until the 4th. From what I can gather, they have problems on offense. Their d played well against KSt until the 4th. I think they are similar to FIU. Struggle with O but have a decent D. If we can keep our turnovers in check and play a clean game, we have the advantages. Need to get a W in conference.

I agree. They are kind of like FIU and Kansas St in that they have a pretty strong defense, but not much on offense. We need to see what Kenneth's status is for next week... we'll need him!

I hope our defense continues to improve. The QB doesn't look like a threat to run. I think in a game like this, where we are even or better at almost every position, we just have to play clean. in the past there have been some chippy play between our 2 teams. Looking forward to getting to 3 in a row.

Dirtest team in the conference. And with Kenneth Dixon getting saddled with so many personal fouls these days (including getting kicked out of last nights game), he'll need to keep a lid on his emotions.

Other than personal fouls, what do y'all think about the game? I think we are getting healthy on the offensive side. I expect Henderson to be a go, Conner Smith may be back, RBs are finally all healed up, and our O line had another game to gel. Defensively I know Cleveland got banged up. Other than that, we seem good. UTSA had several injuries after their OOC games. Important game for our young guys to improve on their fundamentals.

this will be our biggest CUSA test this year....we just were not firing at WKU....UTSA will be a physical game that will be a battle.

Our line will be challenged - and look for UTSA to exploit the middle of the field with their tight end.

I don't think they can keep Dixon out. He was on the ground after a run and the defender had Dixon's head in a scissors lock with his legs and wouldn't let Dixon up. When Dixon got up, he said a few adult choice words! Other than that...he spiked a ball in the end zone. I believe he will be able to play with no problem...other than Holtz being on his ass!!

FWIW, Kansas State proved to be legit yesterday. Yes, the Wildcats lost to Oklahoma State, but the #20 ranked Cowboys had to kick a 37-yd FG with only 32 seconds left to win at home in Stillwater. Close game.
