You can blame Holtz for this one. He gave Kenneth 22 carries against ULL, which was about 7 or 8 carries too many. It was obvious that ULL was keying on Kenneth and doing everything they could just to stop him, scoreboard be dammed.

I would really like to see a heavier dose of Martin if his hand is healed up. We've missed having some change of pace in the backfield. I think giving some additional carries to other guys would be good even with Dixon doing great.

. Tough call--- Kenneth has earned the right to try and finish with NCAA records. He sits out spring games and works his butt off to play on Saturday and not watch the games. He came back for senior year to play football -- that late TD is important to Kenneth -- true ull focused on KD but other players like TT- Gaines - JD credit KD for making it easier for them. Look at runs JD had and single coverage on TT. It does make perfect sense to rest many of these guys but they want to play and earned right to play. Guess it's how you look at things-- you "blame" coach-- I "credit" him for letting KD get TD. Think we are both right on our opinion I don't see KD resting much when NCAA records being chased ( hope his body can take all the cheap shots he takes)

I understand. But, common sense tells you it's easier to get hurt in practice when you got banged up on Saturday.
