A change of scenery could be good for Driskel, who showed up in Gainesville as a highly touted five-star recruit. Driskel's career started out well enough as the Gators finished the 2012 with a 10-2 record in his first season as the starter. But things went downhill from there.
Injuries and poor play doomed Driskel the last two seasons, as he threw for 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He began the 2014 season as Florida's starter but lost the job to freshman Treon Harris following Florida's 42-13 home loss to Missouri.
