On to MTSU......
If the same LA Tech team that played against Miss St & UTSA shows up for the MUTS game, the MUTS will ransack Ruston, and win going away. MTSU has a pretty loaded offense.....a much better offense than Miss State.
Let's hope Holtz quits playing games with Dixon, and we can generate some offense against MTSU. It's going to be very important for the LA Tech offense to keep the ball AWAY from the MUTS' powerful offense.
I want to see us play defense. No more being disappointed with the way we played on D. At this point the players have done as instructed. They have played an area of the field rather than guarding a man. I want to see us guard a man and knock the ball loose instead of watching guys catch it and drag them down after 15 yards. If we can't play man to man, I wish the coaches would admit it so we quit expecting it.

This has "shootout" written all over it.
Sagarin has Tech as about a 5 point favorite. This is going to be an exciting game if you like offense.
It's early but the extended forecast has 80% chance of rain

Last week I had a bad feeling and was right in a way. We actually had every opportunity to win that game. Playcalling on O and D was suspect and then add the mistakes and you get a blowout.
This week, much different. We win by double digits. You can mark my words, you can write it down, and you can take it to the bank! Gonna be a lot of Touchdown Bulldogs, Ya Gotta Love It!
I am glad their are a lot of confident fans on this game. We do play better at home but I am scared to death this game is going to be close. I hope we get some guys back and don't go the conservative route on play calling. I am looking forward to my trip to Ruston as I am bringing a couple of extra fans from Dallas. I just can't get excited because even after 25 years, I still get butterflies the entire week before a game.
As you know, we desperately need the rain.
Rain may hurt student attendance, but the early kickoff was already going to hurt some of our local attendance.
I'll be there anyway. Hope I get wet.
