Holtz said this program will be really successful when enough people care enough about it. There can't be but 5 or 6 thousand at this game. That is "Northeast bad." Let's see what the LSU crowd looks like when it's raining.

If it were Time Out for Tech there'd be 27,000 people there.
We would have had 15k only without rain. Not to much interest to play low T.
Our group of 10 would be there if not for my brothers wedding in Nashville. Watching on TV.
Anyone see that k state got curb stomped today by Texas. The wildcats are just not very good.
That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying we won't beat the P5 teams until we can get enough people to care enough to come to games when it rains or when we play a good conference team that they considr weak. We have to start with caring before we can take the next step.
Oooookay. We obviously DO care so how do you propose to get the rest of the general population on board?
This happens when you WIN these big games and seasons consistently. Besides the instate matchups, our most attended games are when we are in a heater or beat a big team. Getting blown out on the road by Miss State and following it up with a very rainy home game leads to a pitiful showing by our "fans". Win and they will come.
And don't even try to convince ne that attendance has a direct correlation to team success. That is more coaching and talent. Nobody is at the game today and we are bkiwing them out. When we won the last WAC title the showing was even mire pitiful.
NUmber of people in the stands doesn't decide a game. Our administration and ad need to offer more free stuff to get butts in the seats until we have enough of a following to fill the joe. Make it mandatory or offer students more to show up.
Today was bad weather and a no name opponent. No way we were getting a big crowd.
Lsu's success has dwarfed anything we have tried to do. People still look at tech as a joke and will until we compete for national titles and are consistently ranked people will say "why pull for sorry tech when I can be an lsu fan"
It's almost a social status
