Hoping I posted the pansies picture correctly! People are working my nerves.
Just planted at main intersection to the Joe in time for homecoming. Purple and yellow flowers. Now, if your argument is that this is inconsequential, then why plant ANY flowers at ALL! I suppose I will be the ONLY one who finds this absurd.

I wouldn't want them in trouble, since they would be VERY VISIBLE in mowing them! Maybe, just go to the dollar store and buy some blue and white fake flowers and intermingle those to obscure the purple and gold! Um, yeah, I realize that would be pretty tacky. Tacky is also planting purple and yellow pansies!

Good grief!! That is Just plain stupid!!! Do they not know pansies come in blue and red?! Blue is very common. Red not so much, but they could spring for some for that location for HC. If not, just go all blue. Good grief!!

There doesn't seem to have been much thought there. They do have lots of other flowers for the winter- purple and gold was not wise.
