This game was over at the first snap. We are spiraling downward and unless there are major changes, we are going to get blown out in our bowl game.

No offensive or defensive changes whatsoever in weeks.

USM is the quality team and deserves the shot at WKU.

Southern Miss wanted it more. No effort enthusiasm or any sense of urgency from tech. Blame all the way around it wasn't a talent gap it was just a complete lack of freaking effort. Just sad. You would have thought we came out for a scrimmage and not a chance to play for the championship game.. Just sad!

I agree with most of this but I don't see a talent gap across the board. I do think we are hurting for some talent on the OL though. This game was lost because we shit our pants. Not because of talent.

I turned to a buddy before kickoff and told him we are about to get run out of the stadium. All the energy in the venue was on the opposing sidelines. Our fans,players,band and cheer squad acted like they were going thru the motions.

We played so many bad teams this year, its comical. We should have tried Wilson year instead of rent a Qb. At least Wilson play with a fire to win. You can tell how little fire there was by watching the sidelines. Guys laughing on the sidelines while getting beat.

Agree it would have been great to have students but that is not why we lost the game. Poor coaching and poor execution. We were not mentally prepared to play today.

I noticed and thought exactly this before kickoff. I was hoping I was wrong and we were just coming out with some confidence and coolheaded swag...oh well. They were way more fired up and ready to play. It was almost intimidating.

The conference schedules conference games...and it worked out just the way they wanted it with 2 games being played to get into the conference championship. If the USM game had already been played and we were playing UNT, nobody outside of Tech fans would watch it.
