Per DawgPix post:
From tonight's Tech news release:
"All ticket purchases made through the LA Tech Ticket Office (by phone, in person or online) will receive a tour of the new Davison Athletics Complex during basketball season, a 25 percent discount to go towards the LA Tech online merchandise store at LATechSports.com, two ticket vouchers to either the men's or women's C-USA home basketball opener, recognition at a home football game during the 2016 season and a 2015 commemorative bowl poster.
"Additionally, everyone that purchases their bowl ticket through the LA Tech Ticket Office will be entered to win a chance to be an honorary captain at a home football game in 2016, an opportunity to run out with the team at a home game in 2016, two tickets to the club level of the Davison Athletics Complex for a home game in 2016, an autographed helmet and a New Orleans Bowl game experience which will include travel to and from the game on the team bus, a pregame sideline pass and the chance to be in the locker room for the pregame speech. "
Still debating whether to buy our ticket's from Tech or New Orleans Bowl site. I don't care about the possible prizes, just recognize the benefit in Tech selling a lot of tickets through the Tech ticket office. However the extra $100 around Christmas is helpful.
Probably not going to be able to make it.
On the Tech site, how do you know where your seats are? They are saying GA and GA3 for the section, but that doesn't show up on the SuperDome site map???
Ohhh man, this might make my Christmas plans a good bit more interesting... I'm going to have to figure out how to work this one out with my job, and my wife. Hmm... Hopefully I can pull it off and come see the Dawgs get that last win of the year!

I wrote this up for some families visiting New Orleans back in 2010. I could add about 100 more places like Brocado's and Rocky and Carlos', but this gives some good visiting places for those that don't know anything but the Quarter:

I reserved Hilton Riverwalk for "special Hilton Honors " rate of 185 nite (plus taxes) . Sportsdawg got it down to 121$ thru bowl site. Great location-- walked to many a Saints game ( and Tulane/Tech game ) from there.
My wife only has to work half day on Friday!!!
We are planning to leave around 2 - get to NOLA and eat (haven't decided where) - staying at the Hilton Riverside.
Saturday - Cafe Du Monde, Aquarium, Lunch, French Quarter, may WWII museum, NAP- Bowl Game!!!
