Does anyone know of any? What are the tailgating or events happening in or around Superdome? Just asking because I am sure other people are wondering as well.
GO DAWGS!!

Alumni Night Out - Friday @ 10 PM
Join alumni and friends after the concert at Walk-On's (map). This event is standing room only and Dutch Treat.
When we played LSU back in 2007, there were a few Tech flags up on Bourbon St.
I would think most bars would be Tech friendly if you bring money.
I'll be pre-gaming at Cajun Mike's at some point.
Whatever happened to Nick's over by Tulane after he died?
Nick's has been long gone. Besides, the neighbor is shadier than ever. I can't really think of any Tech bars - and we are out drinking regularly - but anywhere should be good. Not a ton of options around the Dome, but Lucy's, Rusty Nail, Walk-Ons, Happy's and Ernst Cafe - all within the immediate area - are good options.
There's a Rotolo's a block over from Walk-On's, IIRC. Happy's Pub is always a good time too. Right next door to Walk On's.
Go to the Bulldog Bar & Grille on.....Canal Blvd, I think that's where it is. We had a great time there recently. I think we did. I am told we did!
----Damn you guys can never get things right--well a lot of things but----Nick Castrogiovanni's was ON TULANE AVE and yes across from the Dixie Brewery ------- Famous for his liquor invented call Tities (not sure of the spelling)----Could by quarts of beer at age 13 in those days!!!
Nick also invented the grass hopper. I went there years ago (in the 1970s) and saw the old man. I remember my friend saw the bartender mixing something and he asked what it was. The bartender told him it as a LEAR JET and gave him a sip. Later when Nick had broken his hip his younger brother was there and there were a couple of women drinking something and again he gave us a taste. Turned out Nick provided a lot of money to students at Tulane and maybe elsewhere.
There's also a bunch of great restaurants two blocks from the Dome on Loyola Avenue in the South Market District - Company Burger (best burger in NOLA now), Blaze Pizza and Willa Jean (good for brunch with a great Irish coffee). Reginelli's on Poydras (across from Walk-Ons) is always good, too.
If you aren't able to travel and want to watch from a bar in Ruston, Sundown is not Tech Friendly.
