Yes, Louisiana Tech School of Pharmacy to free up funding for ULM football.
No, ULM should keep pharmacy & continue to suck at football.

No "all of the above option"..?
We should take their pharmacy program and kill off the whole school. I don't like either of the above options.
Is this something that's actually being considered?
The pharmacists at my CVS on Ellerbe Rd in Shreveport went to 3 different schools:
UL @ Monroe
Louisiana-Monroe
and ULM
The only problem I have with ULM being dead and gone is the fact that there would be only one University of Louisiana-City left and thats unacceptable, plus KNOE would just fill the void with more LSU BS Coverage.
The "naming" law requires that there be two "UL of". If ULM were closed (not a chance) then I guess they would return to being USL. For that reason alone ooh la la would lobby hard to keep ULM going.
As long as we're talking hypotheticals, the Pharm school is infinitely more valuable to Tech than some D2 athletic program.
I'm just throwing out the only solution I can think of that could meaningfully help the ULM football program. By far ULM's biggest problem is that they don't have the financial resources to adequately support an FBS football program. ULM academic funding has already been cut to the bone and is very limited due to their small enrollment, and their pharmacy program is their most expensive program to operate. The ULM folks like to blame their president, but there's really not much he can do because ULM's FBS experiment was doomed from the start. The ULM folks also like to blame their "stringent" entrance requirements, but it's really a non-issue that Berry sold to the media and their six fans who bought it as an excuse for being unable to recruit. ULM students have already rejected several student fee proposals that would've improved their situation. Other than one of their six fans winning the Powerball, the only solution I can think of to free up more money for athletics is ditching their most expensive academic program. Enter Tech to save ULM football by taking their burdensome pharmacy program off their hands.

Bruno is just hoping to hang on long enough to retire at his salary. He is just another POS politician.
Maybe the interim UL System president will consider your plan.
Now this is a good thread Dawg06. I would love for TECH to take the entire "MeToo on Da Bayou" over but their pharmacy program would be a great start. Let's go for their nursing school as well of course to draw the "lookers" for our male students.
I vote to take the Pharmacy and Nursing schools.
What's the point of this thread? Is there some political talk about this in Louisiana?
