    This is totally off the cuff, but your post made me think about this. We, obviously, have some extremely good shooters on our team. We have seen about 7 of them shoot really well at different times. Tyler is extremely disciplined in his approach to coaching, which is why our defense is very good. Shooters have to be loose, though. I wonder if this impacts the mentality of the players. Are they not loose enough on offense? Pumroy discredits this thinking somewhat, though. She will fire up a 3 quickly and hits them. When she misses, it doesn't deter her from trying again and she has been coached by Tyler for a while (Marquette and here). So, this may be nothing.... Just wondering, though. The opposing defense, of course, affects our shooting as well - same as we do to them.

    It is interesting. I'm more likely to attribute it to a mental thing because there are long stretches where we just lose control, lose the ball, can't shoot, can't rebound, etc.

    Not to mention turnovers, which Tyler has stated he is addressing. Some of it is youth, so I hope they can get that under control with time.
