That was cruel--sucked me back in then broke my heart with 00:14 to go!
What a blow out? What a comeback? What a way to catch my first LT game via live stream radio broadcast. But I really enjoyed hearing Malcolm--yep, he does a great job.
We were never in this game. We just got lucky near the end when a few shots swung the other way. McNeese destroyed us physically and mentally.
Something has to change. We are playing very, very, very poor basketball and it seems we are getting worse.
Why do we continue to languish in mediocrity??? 5-6 heading into break... I remember just a few weeks ago I was expecting 8-3 record at this point. More of the same old, same old. We've gotten worse as the season has gotten deeper.
What the heck is going on with Kev lately... she's getting almost no minutes. We should have been towering over the Cowgirls tonight and dominating the paint, oh no: "Points in the paint-MCN 36,LATECH 30."

I'll say this. Our rebounding is getting better. But we lose the ball as soon as we touch it and we can't shoot for shit.
I agree there... rebounding has been fantastic the last few games, but what the crap does it do you any good to rebound at all if you just hand it over before you can even think about a put back.
Obviously I'm new to the Lady Techsters basketball family. Not real sure I feel like we are getting worse. We were outplayed in the first half but MS was getting all the breaks. It seemed like no matter who threw it up it went in or it would bounce right to them. What a gutsy effort to even get back in the game down 21 and tie it up. Merry Christmas ladies enjoy your break and let's tear em up in the New Year.

My observations:
1. Moten has regressed--lack of talent, lack of talent development, or lack of effort on her part to get better?
2. Biggest and most worrisome problem: inconsistent effort. Why?
3. Shooting is poor--one player over 50%
4. Too many silly turnovers--inexperience?
5. We played the best with a combined 2 years of D1 experience on the court. The future is bright. We'll have to endure these growing up pains.
