    Linebackers

Tank Landry, Glenell Sanders, Eldonta Osborne, etc....

It's not like we haven't had great LBs in the past.

I have a special place in my heart for those killers, who can come downhill and drill a RB in the hole, and who can also be effective against the pass. We need to have some kick-butt LBs to anchor our defense.

I really like the LBs we signs last year. All but Durman were RS. We also have 3 commits this year who have some size and the JC guy looks like a stud for sure. I think help is on the way!

Byron Santiago, Barry Robertson, Quin Harris, Adrien Cole, and Nick Thomason have been a few of my favorites over the past decade or so....
    Have you considered those Dogs?

Redshirted for Tanks last year. Saw him at Baylor when Tech won. The guy was a wrecking machine.

Played during Sanders and Osborne time at Tech. Fast and strong LBs of this caliber are hard to come by.

I really like the JUCO LB coming in and hope some of the younger guys step up next year. Our D should be pretty good and young in 2016. The best surprise this year was J. Ferguson. That young man is going to be a beast and play in the NFL. Long agile and quick. Looking forward to next years D and hopefully an offense lead by a QB on the roster currently.

Cole was a good one. I still remember the hit on Hawaii's QB that took him out.

Who was #8 that played with Robertson and Santiago? He never seemed to live up to his potential, but he was a specimen (albeit a little small for the position).

    Thought he played more DE.

Maybe he played both DE and LB...at times.

For those who never saw Walter Johnson #61 play, take a look at this and enjoy. You'll understand why I have him opposite Eric Shaw as a starting DE on my all-time Tech all-star team. Johnson was a one-man wrecking crew. He was so fast to the QB, into the backfield, it was like he was lining up with the other team. You can also see Tank Landry #51 in a few of these clips.
