Tech's assistant pool was $999,700 in 2014, the seventh-most in the conference, and has since been elevated to an all-time high of $1.05 million, or an increase of $55,300.
Throw in a raise to strength and conditioning coach Kurt Hester, and Tech's staff received a total increase of $83,100, according to a USA Today Sports salary database and documents provided by the university.

It's also time to look at moving HCSH salary and bonus structure up. He deserves a nice bump!

The funny thing about this sort of move is always the shock of the school being left. Like it wasn't a big deal when he left little ole Tech for big bad MSU after only one year, but how could he dream of leaving MSU for Miami? It wasn't a problem for them to hire him from us, but he'll be a terrible person in Starkville because he didn't stay there.

The hypocrisy is always abundant in these cases. It actually works the same for conferences, too. Remember when the Big East commissioner cried and cried about how horrible it was that another conference would invite schools to join (and thereby rob his conference) but then turned right around and gutted the original CUSA?
