JJ that big of a loss? Still trying to see the "stud prospect" he recruited. Heck, none of his real good former players are here. Yes, I know "BLASPHEMY"!!!!! I mean, really........did he have that much effect on KD?? He was a super guy, I get that.

OK, I am listening......tell me where I am wrong

2 thumbs up, same thing I said. Losing RB coach hurts b/c I know the kids loved him and he is a great role model and I hear a good coach. I think our ST needed a change. I wish we would go to 1 coach designated to coach ST and let the defensive backs coach coach all DB's... All these big school have an inside receivers coach and an outside receivers coach, a inside LB coach, outside LB coach...pretty soon its going to be a guards coach, tackles coach, left corner coach, right corner coach...its getting ridiculous.

What is a RB coach worth that has connections in the DFW area as well as Louisiana?

He was really good for the culture of our program. I like him because he seems authentic. That's what made him a good recruiter.

Tony Tademy? Not a RB coach, but we have a defensive opening, too. I think he's doing high school stuff in Houston?

    Connections at Tech and DFW.

I think we're all limited to the same number of actual coaches who are allowed to stand on a field and "coach."

Where the big budget schools get us is paying more to hire the best 10 or whatever at those positions, and creating tons of specialists for the off-the-field stuff. Guys to break down video, get kids to class, oversee nutrition, etc.

Isn't there someone in Pineville that knows a thing or two about special teams (and coaching them)?
