Conference USA officials announced the league's 2016 slate as Louisiana Tech will open league play at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 24 and wrap up the season in Rivalry Week with the annual Rivalry in Dixie game at Southern Miss on Nov. 26.

Nothing unusual about playing in Boston in the middle of the season.

** And I'm fairly certain most of us could schedule those 7 road games too.

** The Ark game is the only one that a college freshman might have trouble scheduling. Of course, it was initially scheduled for Little Rock, but our AD gave that leverage away for reasons unknown.


I'm just not happy with T-Mac's scheduling. He's perhaps the worst scheduler we'ver ever had at LA Tech. And "ever" covers a long time. This schedule really sucks.

I personally will love seeing a game with our Dawgs at Fayetteville, Arkansas. I've never been in that stadium.
I personally will LOVE watching our Dawgs in Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA (near Boston) during the awesome leaf color changing time of the year.

The only one that sucks IMHO is playing Texas Tech Lubbock, Texas in the middle of nowhere'sville.

He also did the Boston deal which is just crazy. Only people with HD and Tylertechsas money can afford to make that trip, but then y'all are the only Tech fans our AD and his shadow Marco care about .

For perspective on the UMass deal, it sucks, but somehow they worked the exact same deal with MSU, who has a better AD.

MD you are better then that my man. A class warfare dig?? Really?
BTW, the alumni trips in the past have been incredibly well organized and are not that expensive as you really aren't gone for that long and are traveling in a sizable group. It's also a way to meet new 'Tech Family" friends.
And for you MD, I guess a way to meet new clients helping raise your income base so you can go every year.

I'm excited for UMASS game, but only because my wife is from the cape and we are going to take her family to their first Tech game. We spend two weeks every summer up there and it will be beautiful in the fall.

Your wife is from Cape Cod? And she ended up in Alexandria, LA? How does that happen?

She had a friend doing graduate school engineering at tech and came to visit, she really liked Ruston and Tech, not to mention out of state tuition is still a lot cheaper here then instate in Massachusetts, she was at a Juco that cost more then it did to come to Tech.
