Not only is Zack Cousar (TE) a fantastic blocker, his HS team also used him quite a bit at WR. He even threw a TD pass to our our QB recruit (Jack Abraham) in one game. At 6-4, he appears to be a tremendous athlete.

I like some of those plays. Reckon his coach (or O.C.) might be ready to "step up"??????

At this point I might have to go with Beasley and Baker (our highest rated recruit).

I like most of them but I'm excited to see what Israel Tucker can do. If he was a little taller I think the bigger schools would have been all over him. He runs with passion like Dixon, catches the ball very well, and is built like Boston Scott. I think he may play next year.

Did you know Gary Crowton just named offensive co-ordinate for Stephan F Austen?? Imagine if Gary and Tim were together running an offense....

Wow! That's quite a fall for Gary Crowton. He went from leading LA Tech to victory over Alabama, to being the OC for the Chicago Bears, to a head coach position at BYU, to being one of the highest paid OC's in the country at LSU, and now to being named OC at SFA.

What's worse is that his OC at Tech is now the Head Coach and Crowton is his OC.

Wow. That sounds like the SFA Head coach threw Crowton a life line.

He's a Rummel Raider, so you know he comes in as my favorite.

I think he'll do fine at Tech. Might switch to a WR, or be used as a slot back, sometimes running the ball, sometimes going out for a pass. He had injury issues in high school, and his durability is a concern. The conditioning coach needs to put a little muscle on him.

But, as you watch that tape, you see a lot of similarities between Rummel's offensive scheme and Tech's. So that'll be an easy transition for him.
