Louisiana Tech head coach Skip Holtz announced Monday that Jack Abraham and DaMarion King have signed athletics financial aid agreements to play football at Louisiana Tech beginning with in the 2016 season. Both are expected to enroll in the spring quarter and participate in spring drills.

They show Jon Randall Belton as 100% MS STate, but the predictions were from August 2014 & February 2015, before he got hurt again.
Earlier in this decade, Tech's MBB team was coached by Kerry Rupp. One of his assistants was Nikita Johnson. Nikita recruited Josh Brown to attend Tech to play basketball. Josh signed a grant-in-aid. Shortly afterwards, Nikita Johnson was hired by ULL. Josh Brown followed him to ULL.
The story I remember is that the grant-in-aid is not a binding agreement like the national letter of intent. The letter of intent keeps other coaches from poaching or continuing to recruit the player, but the grant-in-aid does not.
Please correct me if I am not wrong.

he graduated high school early
So did Abraham. Jack signed a financial aid. Guess I don't understand the system. I you couldn't sign a LOI until February 5.
