Because this year's team - led by Alex - gives off a very laid back vibe. It's no secret that the crowd feeds off the energy from the court. The last four years we had Speedy and Kyser pumping up and interacting with the crowd. Since there is no leadership by our cheerleaders or in the student section, our coach or players have to cue our fans to stand up and yell. If they don't, then the crowd quietly sits and watches when we need them to get loud. With the loss of Speedy, our crowd needs leadership from somewhere.
And there is no defense for that utterly pathetic and orchestrated attendance hit piece and then later ignoring his faux storyline when reality trumped TNS's misleading narrative.
