L'Jarius had quite the game against the Saints. Looking at the box score on ESPN it reads:
1 interception returned for 3 yards, 3 total tackles, one solo tackle, one sack, one tfl, one QB hit and 3 passes defended. Surprised no fumbles caused or recovered. I didn't watch the game so I do not know how he did in coverage beyond this, but these stats look very good!

He gave up a TD late and had a PI, but other than that he looked really good.

The KC Chiefs have tagged Sneed for protection in the free agency scheme. Wow! means they really like him.

the franchise tag allowed kc the right to match any offer and to get two first-round draft picks in exchange if they let him go. they may have wanted to protect him, but it's more likely they just knew other teams would be willing to give up some draft picks for him.

NON-EXCLUSIVE TAG: This tag allows the player to sign an offer sheet with another team. The original team has the right to match the offer or receive two first-round draft picks in compensation if the player leaves. This is the most common type of tag.

Thanks for that info. Anyway, Sneed is set for life, think it was a $75 million deal.

On Friday, the Titans and Chiefs officially agreed to terms on a trade that sends Sneed to Tennessee. The compensation: Kansas City is trading Sneed to the Titans in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and a swap of 2024 seventh-round picks (Titans get pick 252, Chiefs get pick 221).
