I don't know that it is so much that for me. I think as long as we keep our sights on competing with and beating Marshall, USM, Houston, and others it will result in us leaving USL in a heap behind us more often than not. It makes me happy not because it is USL, but because of the level USL is on.

"wanting" to play them is weak. Our Admin "wanted" to play them because somebody forced them to. Our admin was weak for ever scheduling them again in any sport.

Honestly, I see no reason not to play ULL in baseball (and in softball too). They have been better than us in both sports. A home-home every year makes perfect sense.

Have to agree. College baseball & softball evolved differently from football and basketball. Have no interest in playing ULL or the Baton Rouge school in football or basketball. But having regular home & home series with both of them in baseball & softball would be a good thing.

We'd have loved to play them in their best sports, but they would not do it unless we scheduled a home and home in football first with the first game being down there. Yes it worked out, but it was a horrible move by D.R. on his way out.

I hate to say it but DR and of course TECH got the last laugh. I'll take it every day of the week with these results.

It's never funny to gamble our perception with the political cards. D.R. didn't know and didn't care if we could win any of the games.

Losses in MBB games hurt us. Not only did it break a home court winning streak, it killed our RPI.

None of you who thought it was a good move are in favor of playing ulm. Very inconsistent thought process.

That move would have been even more impressive if it had worked and the runner had been picked off.
