    M. Basketball. A Basketball Bond between Father and Son

A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:

Take a closer look at the left arm of Alex Hamilton and you will see a basketball with a crown and a cross etched into his skin.

    Discuss it here.

I'm saying, where does he rank as far as one of the greatest in program history? Top 5? An NCAA Tourney appearance would benefit him greatly in the argument.

If wins are the measure of rankings, he is #1.

The #2 in steals when he played with Speedy for 3 years is really, really impressive.

He's got to be considered one of the greatest guards to ever play at Tech. Right? I've never seen a player that can stop his drive and often 2-3 players can't.

Interesting. You think he is better than Speedy?

They're different. But I think Alex's skillset better translates to the NBA. He's like Derrick Rose in terms of strength with the ball and ability to get to the rim. Speedy is a phenomenal passer but I think Alex has proven he's an excellent passer this season. Alex's ability to score at will makes him a more viable NBA point guard imo. I think Alex will get drafted.

I don't think he will. He'll spend his career overseas.

Unfortunately, I tend to agree. Hell of a lot of difference between driving to the rim in the NBA vs CUSA, and I think the passing has been sub-par, especially of late.

    Hope we both are wrong.
