The projected crest of the Ouachita is 46.4ft. If it reaches that level, will any areas be affected or is it the danger of other areas not being able to drain properly?

My concern is the projection. They posted that number well before the several inches of rain was received in Arkansas and all areas north of us last night. These are the same people who keep saying we only received 21" of rain...the same people who said strait line winds caused the tornado damage in Ouachita Parish in the Fall of 2014.

Hopefully we will miss the big rain here, but Arkansas is already getting it. Some areas here remain flooded and have not yet crested from the last rains.

OK Houston is getting another of your 100 year events in less than a year. Twenty inches in one place in less than six hours. Looks like an all day event.

Bad deal. The low pressure trough is not as severe as the one we had a few weeks ago, but it is still an unusual situation. We can't handle more than a few inches in the Ouachita River area here and in other parts of NELa.
