This could be a very good hire. I like it.
Just watched this Mic'd Up video by Delta State athletics, he seems pretty energetic.
Delta State? And this impresses you guys?
Oooookay.
He's an Ole Miss grad and was a Grad Asst @ Ole Miss. He has DC experience. Looks good to me.
A standout player at Ole Miss, Goethie started at linebacker for three seasons under former head coach David Cutcliffe and was awarded the programs prestigious “Chucky Mullins Award” which is presented to the programs defensive player that exudes excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
had a Coach in 65 who left us for Picayune memorial HS after 1 yr. he did help recruit Bradshaw-- not sure how it worked out for him.
Heard he and Bradshaw still hang together on Sundays during football season and talk about their Superbowl rings and National championship.
Jimmy J.?
Delta State has a damn strong lineup of co-eds.
Jaluke was a high school coach. What's your point?
I'd rather have had the usm DC who coached lbs, teams, and had the #1 defense in cusa and took a job at western something but I guess skip thought he wasn't a good fit. He has been right most of the time so we'll see.
Looks like a great addition to the staff. Glad he is here...

If you're talking to me, my point is = Delta State. For those of you with a very weak football IQ, Delta State is far from being an FBS football powerhouse. It's small time. Very small time. Got it now? Or do we need to cover it a little slower for ya?
The Jaluke hire was very different. Jaluke was hired to recruit south Louisiana and inner city New Orleans.
